The carefully designed model contains lots of accurate historical detail and the roof lifts to reveal the interior of the temple, showing the construction of the building and many statues and friezes. There are also around twenty groups of cut-out figures, including priests and priestesses and citizens making offerings to the goddess Athena, giving an exciting glimpse into life in Ancient Greece. The finished model measures approximately 280 x 430mm (11 x 17in) and the temple is 125mm (5in) high.
