If you are just starting out trying to incorporate technology into your own classroom and do not know where to start, this book is for you. In this vast world of ever-changing technologies, this book give you a nice place to start. It teaches you how to go about finding, adapting, planning, implementing and keeping up to date with the technologies of today. It is a great little guide that lays out for you steps to follow when sorting through and learning all of the technologies avialable to the educator today. I found it a short easy guide to read and I think it would be helpful to the novice or the seasoned technology vet. The book guides you to implementing technology, it does not give you, in depth, different technologies to use in your classroom. That comes in the form of a companion website that is authored and kept up to date by Kent. The web-site is the real gem of this book, it lays out in detail, a variety of technologies to use and incorporate. It is easy to navigate and contains a huge amount of useful information for the educator. I do believe that this book, coupled with the website is an excellent way to learn how to use technology in your classroom. The book is written in easy to understand language and is a handy guide for any educator. It contains helpful questions to ask yourself when starting out and illustrates the direction that education is taking in the twenty-first century. ENJOY.
