Well written, easy to understand June 25, 2008 easy-to-follow instructions and i have referred to this book quite frequently. However, I also recommend the DVD that's available - it provides "visual" instruction - both are great resources.
A digital camera guide in black and white?? May 2, 2008 Pretty basic guide for a digital photography beginner. I was very surprised to find that all images in the book are black and white. It's a bit difficult to explain finer points of high end digital photography with b/w images.
Helpful, but not indispensable. April 25, 2008 Easier to follow than the Sony instructions, adds some useful perspective, but not as much value-added as I hoped. Still worth having though.
Sony Camera book April 21, 2008 Glad I purchased the book -- much better than just the directions that came with the product.
excellent tool...if you JUST had your camera. January 19, 2008 a GREAT reference, but my only complaint is that i should have bought this book as soon as i got the camera. I wanted to get more out of the camera after fiddling with it for 4 months hoping to get more hidden techniques but then some of the tips written are the ones i already figured out myself.
