A must for the field February 11, 2008 This is not a manual, but a field reference guide. Lamenated and folded it fits very easily in to a camera bag pocket or a backpack. The color printing is big enhancement over some earlier versions for other cameras. If you are wanting to learn how to use the camera, neither this or the manual will do. I own several Canon pro and pro-sumer digital bodies and have this guide for each one and for associates who use my company equipment. Each camera has a slightly different way, or menu path to the user settings. Beleive it or not, there is enough difference between the Mark iiN and the Mark iii to cause some momentary memory lapses when switching back and forth. You do need your glasses though - and carry an LED penlight in your bag, too.
Type/print is too small and not helpful January 25, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
These cheatsheets are suppose to be helpful guys so while in the field you can take a quick look and set your camera. Unfortunately, this cheatsheet is so crammed of specs directly out of the manual, it is void of being of help on how to actually do particular settings. Just take your manual with you and it will be more helpful than this. Unless your eyes are perfect, you have little chance of reading this print. It looks like a legal page of boiler print instead of a helpful reminder guide. I will never use this guide while actually shooting because it include only specs, not how to make changes. I bought this for a member of the family who is just learning how to use my camera. He took one look and said please let me just use the manual instead. I'm afraid I just wasted my money. I wish someone would put out a truly useful guide and I would pay twice the price of this to buy it!
