Product Description
For a decade Chloe Atkins has been part of the San Francisco lesbian nightlife. She has regularly photographed the women in attendance at several area nightclubs and lesbian events. Girls' Night Out, the result of her work, is a portrait of women at play-a sexy, often whimsical, occasionally sensual, and completely joyful look at nightlife lesbians in all their diversity.

Dated, posed pictures April 22, 2006 I was really disappointed by this book after reading the reviews. The pictures are dated, too posed, not genuine looking.
WOW!! January 5, 2005 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I just unwrapped my Christmas present to myself and WOW was I impressed. What a fun, playful, and honest look at lesbians - all colors, all forms (butch, femme, dyke,...). The pictures are beautiful - pure, simple, basic, - without excess clutter. I have other books on featuring women, but none has matched the beauty as seen through the eyes of Chloe.

It is indeed a shame that this little gem has gone out of print...simple, wonderful, beautiful, erotic, funny, and sexy...all aptly describe the photography. So good you'll want to buy two.

This is the best lesbian book ever. Though I was a mite confused. I always believed that a girl's night out involved going to CVS
Sparkling, sexy photography! October 21, 1999 15 out of 15 found this review helpful
Wow! The joy expressed in Atkin's photographs of lesbians at play (in clubs, bars, etc.) is truly breathtaking to behold. I didn't think one could "re-read" a photography book this many times. Buy it, love it, sleep with it under your pillow.
