When a young man addresses eighteen-year-old Alison as Ali, a name used only by her close friends, she believes it to be a case of mistaken identity. However, when a second man greets her as Ali and tells her that her new dark hair doesn’t suit her as well as her usual blonde, the adopted Alison begins to think she may have a twin sister who has moved into her neighborhood.
