Customer Reviews:
A Very Simple Local Gov't Text December 23, 2007 If you are looking for a book to learn some basic information about current issues in state and local government, you might enjoy this book. It reads like it is designed to bore high school and college students. With the picture of Ray Nagin on the cover, I thought that its contents may be at least controversial and thought provoking. Unfortunately, it is just too simplistic to be pleasurable reading.
