Product Description Once upon a time there was a talking frog. This frog's name was Strawberry-Chan. Strawberry-chan loved his boy, Akiyoshi, very much... but Akiyoshi liked nothing more than to use a straw to blow Strawberry-chan up like a balloon - much to the chagrin of Strawberry-chan. Akiyoshi's friends all feel very differently about Strawberry-chan. Some wish he were treated better, some really love Strawberry-chan, and one even wishes he was Strawberry-chan. With all of this love and abuse, will our frog even survive the first volume?

Pet ownership ain't all it's cracked up to be! October 8, 2008 So the premise is pretty simple. Boy has frog. Frog loves Boy. Boy hurts Frog. That's all there really is to it. I think it's a hard sell. But it think it's worth your time. If you're a fan of phyiscal comedy you will love this. The chapters start out as litterally one or two pages. as the volume progresses story elements begin to bleed over through the chapters and the chapters get longer. One of the boy's friends is in love with his frog and that adds some humor. As well as younger classmate who is love with the owner of the frog and will do whatever it takes to win said boy's love. It's funny. and never really knowing what will happen to the frog is enjoyable. think of it like a violent version of Garfield. don't miss this one!
