Product Description
With Do-It-Yourself Dream Hunts you will learn the tips and tricks to arranging an affordable first-rate hunt. This book provides a state-by-state guide to license costs (including Canada), and goes on to cover firearm selection, advice for legally accessing private land, exploring public lands or leasing land, getting a tag, transporting meat and trophy home after the hunt, and training for the big hunt. At least 80 percent of the book is about deer hunting, while 15 percent focuses on elk and the remaining five percent addresses other species. Take your hunting to new heights!

Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Just the advice I needed!   September 4, 2008
I picked up a copy of this book on a whim. I have another book from the author on predator hunting and saw him on TV hunting moose a while back. I have to tell you, I feel this was a good investment. I like to hunt and dream of hunting for elk and moose, etc... But the cost of doing one of these trips has held me back. I wanted to go do-it-yourself route, but didn't know where to begin. Now I do.

The author's recomendations were spot on and the foreword by Waddell was very cool.
