Product Description
The Unauthorized Album of caught-in-the-act photos your beloved furry ones never meant for you to see, What Pets Do While You're at Work reveals for the first time what your pets are really up to while you're away. And it's not all good clean fun!

From an unsupervised canine "Come Pee in My Pool" party to channel-surfing fat cats, eloping bulldogs, shopaholic iguanas, and potbelly pigs that slurp their lunch on the rocks, the pets in these pages really don't seem to be missing you much at all.

So, in the morning as you head off to work, you'll feel a little less guilty because your pets are not napping or staring, bored, out the window, waiting for you to come home. They are living each moment to the fullest, especially when you're not around!

2 out of 5 stars Not So Funny...   January 9, 2008

While I hoped this would be a funny look at what goes on in your home while you're away, I didn't find much that was clever, original, or funny. I thought much of it was inane, adolescent, and unoriginal. Some of it seemed downright cruel: kitten in a jar, bunny in a bucket, one looks like a cat was placed on a dog's back and the dog reacted by throwing the cat into the air. Many of the photos are the same ones you've received in your inbox many times, and a good many photos are contrived or PhotoShopped.

And I found some of it to be downright incomprehensible; for example, one photo heading is, "Pooka Thinks We Are All Sofa King We Todd Did," pg.119. Huh? Am I missing something?

While this is a clever idea, and there are a few clever captions for crazy animal behavior, this book misses the mark on many levels.

5 out of 5 stars I like cute animal pics   November 20, 2007

I recommend this book as a perfect stocking stuffer for any pet-lover in your life. The pictures are pretty funny. How the pet-owners ever got their pets do some of these things is beyond me...I guess it pays to always have a camera handy. Beverly West & Jason Bergund have also created some funny captions to these photos. It's a nice, feel good book.

Not quite what I expected. When I looked at it, it looked like only funny pictures, but when I read it I noticed that a few pictures were not very funny.

4 out of 5 stars Not always good, clean fun!   November 7, 2007

What are your dogs, cats, bunnies and hamsters up to after you walk out the door every day? Well, at last the truth can be revealed by Jason Bergund and Bev West, in their tell-all expose filled with candid photos of pets drinking your liquor, watching cable (pay-per-view?), luxuriating on your bed, in the pool, smoking and other surprising activities.

This is a must for pet lovers who have probably suspected all along that their animal companions are really people.
