Beautiful, thought-provoking book! July 13, 2005 Absolutely stunning book. Tells an amazing visual story of the world we live in. It just takes a moment to stop and think to see the depth of the story being told. And the Gap bag/slipgase that it comes in is SOOOOO cool!!
Glorified stock photography book... November 30, 2003 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This has to be the worst Visionaire to date. What happened here? This is just a glorified stock photography book stuck in a cheesy Gap bag. Actually, I've seen stock photo books better than this! Bland, bland and bland is all I can say for the concept, design and photos in this issue. It seems like this is just a desperate attempt to generate some money while they work on a better (hopefully) issue of Visionaire. Don't get me wrong, I love Visionaire and own quite a few back issues myself. I just expect better from them than this half-hearted attempt at exploring a place called home. You would think the creative team that made this would have been brimming with ideas on how to describe the concept of "home", but instead you'll flip through page after same looking page and then never look through it again. Though any issue of Visionaire over number 25 is hardly "collectible" anymore, don't bother shelling out the cash for this one unless you are a diehard fan intent on having a complete collection. You'll probably find this issue in a bargain bin somewhere for 20 bucks.
