Product Description One of the most fascinating forms of art and expression is the love letter. Love letters have been a way for lovers to exchange their innermost feelings since the earliest forms of writing. The movie Sex and the City shows us the importance of historical love letters, as they use many of these love letters written by some of the great men of history including authors, poets, heads of state, composers and others. We present you a collection of some of the most important love letters ever written. The writers include Ludwig von Beethoven, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, John Keats, Napoleon Bonaparte, Mark Twain, Winston Churchill, Robert Browning and Victor Hugo. Love Letters from Great Men is highly recommended for those interested in having a copy of these timeless love letters written by important men of history.

Poorly done rip off July 18, 2008 0 out of 6 found this review helpful
This book is a jumbled mess. The fact that they misspelled Ludwig van Beethoven's name is just a small hint of how bad this thing is. It has nothing to do with the movie Sex and the City, btw, despite the false implication it does.
This book is awful July 15, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This thing looks like a junior high school student slapped it together in an afternoon, just to try to take advantage of the "buzz" from the Sex and the City movie. It's virtually unreadable.
Excellent Compilation June 28, 2008 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
This is an excellent compilation of some of the greatest love letters ever written. I purchased this book because of it being mentioned in the sex and the city movie. These letters are sweet, smart and interesting to read. I would recommend it.
