Product Description
Digital photography has revolutionized the way people capture, store, share, and display their memories. But snapping that digital photo of the baby, the pooch, or the sunset over Key West is just the beginning of a wondrous realm of display options. Once the shot has been transferred from the digital camera to the computer, its creative possibilities are just about limitless. This great new book-plus kit combines proven craft techniques with computer know-how to help readers produce professional-looking personal mementoes quickly and affordably, using only popular image-editing software and an ordinary ink jet printer. Even the crafts-challenged (and the barely computer literate) will be creating hundreds of unique greeting cards, calendars, albums, scrapbooks, refrigerator magnets, mouse pads, photo frames, and other items for treasured keepsakes or thoughtful gifts before they know it. The kit comes with everything necessary to start having fun with the digital camera: four different kinds of special-effects paper, photo mats, stencils, magnets for decorating, and a 64-page guide that’s packed with fun project ideas and easy-to-follow image-editing techniques.

Not even remotely worth the money! September 7, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
If you are interested in making your own mouse-pads and T-shirts, get yourself a good book and plenty of textile transfer paper. I tried to make a friend a mouse-pad for his birthday and screwed up on it. Because, the kit only had one piece of textile paper, I could not try again. This kit only has one piece of each type of paper that it includes. I you make a mistake on something, you have wasted your money. The kit does not even tell you where to get more paper at. You can learn a few things from it. However, it is mostly a waste of money.
