Product Description
From the "queen of urban fiction" (Publishers Weekly), Vicki Stringer, comes a scorching tale of love, lies, loss, and the indomitable spirit of a woman scorned. Mischievous and manipulative, eighteen-year-old Red is an expert at deception with a provocative femininity. She employs her dirty ways - even faking a pregnancy with her boyfriend - to win a closet full of Gucci bags, a deluxe condominium full of baby accessories, a new car, and a book deal. But when one of Red's scams backfires and she winds up truly pregnant by her inmate ex-boyfriend, Bacon, she finds herself in more trouble than she's ever known. The drama truly unravels when Red's picture-perfect cons fall apart due to the power of - surprisingly - love.

BEST EVER May 1, 2008 I MUST SAY I HAVE READ A LOT OF BOOKS BUT THIS ONE TAKES THE CAKE. I READ IT IN ONE DAY THAT'S HOW INTERESTING IT WAS. RED IS A MASTER OF ALL TRAITS. I CAN'T WANT FOR STILL DIRTY TO COME OUT SO I CAN SEE WHAT'S NEXT FOR MS. RED!
Dirty Red was hot!!!!! with a capital HOT March 14, 2008 Dirty Red was awesome and it helped me to realize that you can not trust any and everybody no matter what little good you try to find in them. Every body in the book did someone wrong in one way or another and the author was just keeping it real because things like that do happen in real life. Now let me just say Q was the most faithful man you could ever imagine having and Red was a fool for almost missing out on that. Even though Red made stupid decisions and did not really think before she she did things I understood that she was a victim of circumstances and she only did what she had to do to survive in the cold, hard world. We don't realize it until someone writes about it that this stuff happens on the regular. It was a good read and I recommend anyone who has not read it to pick up a copy because it is truly worth the money you spend on it. And to Vickie keep up the good work and maybe think about coming out with a sequel to Dirty Red!!!!!!! God Bless!!
overall good read February 26, 2008 dirty red was a pretty good book, just about all the characters, especially red were scandalous. no one was a true friend they all had tricks up their sleeves. it kept me interested and there was a lot of wild stuff going on and she(the author) did a good job describing everything. so it was a pretty ok book,i finished it in one sitting.
She's a bad Mutha Shut Yo Mouth February 3, 2008 Dirty Red serves up some dirt in this novel. She lives by the true meaning of keep your friends close and your friends even closer (I wrote it right). If you cross her wrong she was out to get you back by any means necessary. This is a must read book.
Is it going to be a sequel January 23, 2008 I read Ms Stringer's previous books and enjoyed them. Dirty red it started off catching my attention then it started to lose me.It really lost me in the end. I'm hoping there is a sequel and soon.
