| Customer Reviews:
Another in a large collection of unusual books. April 6, 2007 I have many of these volumes. This one is as good as any. Fun reading, and it is amazing how he culls the literature to bring us these factoids. Don't expect a typical book. These books are anthologies of unusual occurences in each subject. Try one, the rest are similar. Some are hardback, some paperback, and some, believe it or not, are in three ring binders. Almost all look as though they are the product of a copy machine. Some are well finished, however. Nonetheless, it is the information you are after, so ignore the typeface and the occasional typos. Enjoy the work of a dedicated man, William R. Corliss. I have been reading him for about fifteen years..With the unusual category system he employs, you will find after reading about earthquake noises, you will want the book detailing earthquake lights. Etc. Enjoy. So much better than any fiction. Definitely not UFO junk or parapsychology stupidity, either. Material from scientific journals and newspapers over the years. Take them for what they are worth. WRC frequently comments on each entry, and is unbiased. He just is reprinting the information for us...Thanks, William.
