| Customer Reviews:
Recommended for college-level collections April 29, 2001 Permafrost is a very specific science guide recommended for college-level collections with strong geology holdings: it provides readable descriptions of frozen ground phenomena, considering the course of permafrost and how humans have dealt with frozen ground and its changes. Black and white and some color photos accompany quite detailed descriptions of geologic change and frost patterns which will interest any avid geology student.
