A Very Useful Reference April 29, 2001 Although there are much newer versions of Photoshop released at this time, I wanted to express that this book has been a great help to me over the years with graphic design. It has a very comprehensive format that covers many features of this software, and it also gives you great examples throughout demonstrating unique ideas. I keep it on hand for quick reference. The only draw back to this book, is that it is quite large compared to other quick reference software books.
Good tutorial by authors with a good sense of humour. February 15, 1998 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Although the book still suffers from subject "jumparound" it is less pronounced than the previous version. Good screenshots, little pieces of photoshop and graphics trivia. The section on masking is still absoultely awful. Even knowing how to use masks I couldn't follow the instructions. This would be a small gripe if masks weren't so vital to most Photoshop users.
A great help to spice up any project!!! July 14, 1997 I found this book to be the most informative out of all the different photoshop books I have come accross. I would recommend this book over any other. The additional filters that I came accross were awesome. I was able to make a rather simple project turn into a spectacular piece of work. The price is a steal!
