This book was brand new, half the price of the store's, and arrived both quickly and in excellent condition. I would definitely recommend this seller.

I liked this book very much. I haven't gotten to use it as much as I would like to, however, I can have it as a reference book to take down when I need it. It goes step by step which is what I need.
IT WILL GET YOU STARTED March 21, 2008 34 out of 43 found this review helpful
This book is pretty good -- especially for someone who is not in any way familiar with Photoshop software. The very beginning of the book tells you the editors only allowed a certain number of pages to this book, so you will not be told about everything this program has to offer. I bought 'Photoshop Elements 6: The Missing Manual' in combination with this 'Dummies' book. So far, I have been able to place my cat on a cloud with angel wings, and I have also put myself on a football field hugging the mascot.
Not as good as "The Missing Manual" Book March 14, 2008 50 out of 50 found this review helpful
I spent a considerable period of time with this book. I never got a good feel for the program and was confused by several chapters. The concept of the organizer should be laid out closer to the beginning of the book. Similarly, the "quick edit" and "guided edit" features should be covered earlier. In contrast, the Missing Manual is much better written, has examples on the web, and gives a better feel for the program. I usually like the "Dummies" book, but this one wasn't written as well as most. I think The Missing Manual can be seen on line for free for 45 days.
