5 out of 5 stars Loved This Book   March 1, 2008
Scott Kelby has a unique writing style which is right up my alley. He has the ability to make learning fun. This book is not for that "SNOBISH PRO PHOTOGRAPHER" who already knows everything, but its awesome for folks like me who are still in the learning process. And those who enjoy some humor along with the learning. His humor is definately "different", but i thoroughly enjoy his style.

5 out of 5 stars Great again....   February 29, 2008
I enjoyed the first book, and this one is no different. Scott Kelby does a great job of dividing his books into small, workable topics that you can absorb and learn as you read. That way you're not reading a long book of information and then thinking "how do I do that?" This book goes several steps more in depth than the first book. The first one is great general information to help any beginning photographer (point & shoot, or SLR) achieve better photos. This book goes into more indepth topics about specific ways to make better portraits through use of "pro tips" for how to use flash more effectively, etc.

I highly recommend anything Scott Kelby writes!

5 out of 5 stars Great for any level photographer   February 29, 2008
I have taken pictures with a SLR since the 70's and am fairly accomplished but there is always more to learn. Scott Kelby makes it easy to do that. About half the pages of my copy are dog eared and I return to this time and again. A wonderful follow up to his first effort with great tips in easy to understand language. Highly recommended.

5 out of 5 stars The How-To Guide for Pro and Amateur Photographers   February 28, 2008
Scott Kelby delivers (yet again) with this second volume. As a professional photographer, I'm always reading up on tips and tricks. Kelby gets straight the point with techniques as well as invaluable information of what equipment to buy and why. Unlike all other how-to or instructional guides, Kelby, in a way only he can, makes everything clear and funny.

I would highly recommend this and all other Scott Kelby books to pros and amateurs alike.

5 out of 5 stars He's done it again!   February 28, 2008
Scott Kelby has done it again. This book is full of useful information and is a great resource for any level of photographer. Scott Kelby's style of writing is easy to understand and humourous. Great book at an even better price. You won't be disappointed.
