Earth from Above, 3rd Edition August 2, 2006 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Very large, heavy book, substantial binding. Content is very nice but I expected more "breath-taking" photographs. But it's on my family room table to stay.
Graduation Present July 7, 2006 After spending two weeks traveling in Europe with a friend and seeing an exhibit of Yann Arthus-Bertrand by chance in Slovenia, I had to get this book as a graudation present for a friend. The pictures are beautiful and the text interesting and informative.
Marvellous book March 12, 2006 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
A very huge book, with perfect pictures, amazing. I've not yet read the book but the pictures will lead me in a short time through the world. The book was very well packed and I'm very happy to do business by searching and buying books on amazon.com. Thanks
Great Coffee Table Book February 22, 2006 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a wonderful coffee table book that will truly widen your perspectives of the world. Great conversation piece. A neat gift idea for all!
Beautiful, thought-provoking images of our world January 15, 2006 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
If you had the pleasure of seeing the exhibit with larger-than- life reprints of these spectacular images, you'll want the book as a reminder. If you never got to see the exhibit, the book is the next best thing. The text also leaves the reader with food for thought as to whether it will be possible to see some of the same images in another decade if we don't take care of our planet. Worth its weight in gold on your bookcase or coffee table.
