It left me flat June 5, 2008 3 out of 6 found this review helpful
The idea for this book was pretty good and definitely different, but there just wasn't enough romance or plot going on. A ghost that can't even touch her man doesn't make for quality steaminess... and the couple kind of fumbled around, and not even physically, until the end then wham, bam, thank you ma'am, it was over. I don't know about you, but I read romance for better than real life romance and lovin', and what was there was pretty much tepid and didn't come on line until more than half way through the book. Maybe if she could have used telekinesis for more than stealing trinkets?... Give me more romance! Please!
not bad June 2, 2008 0 out of 3 found this review helpful
I enjoyed reading this, I don't really like the sex scenes, they seem weird. Its slower than #3, Ilike Cole's style of writing.
MMMMMMMM GOOD!!!!! June 2, 2008 1 out of 4 found this review helpful
I love it. I love all of Kresley Cole's books. This one is no different she leaves in a few little tidbits for the next book tucked away in each book. And the guy on the cover just looks like you could just eat him up or as Nix says "lick em".
Great! Hot!! Loved It!! May 27, 2008 1 out of 4 found this review helpful
I love this series...it's hot and you fall in love with all the characters, I share these books with all my co-workers and no one ever complains about my taste!! they keep asking me for more! Come on? who doesn't love hot vampires and werewolves! Pick these books up, you won't be sorry!
Not one fo her best. May 26, 2008 1 out of 4 found this review helpful
The book is about Conrad Wroth and Neomi Laress.Conrad is the the "black sheep" of the Wroth family.Neomi is a murdered ballerina,a spirit, back from the 1920's. The whole patern of the book,is as always excellent.Steamy love scenes, fabulous dialogues beatifull description of the background and surroundings of the story. But that's only "it" for me.I expected a lot more from the story.Murdoch doesn't fill me up us the rest heroes of the series. He seems....vacant.He had a lot of possibilities that,in my opinion, weren't developed. The annoying part for me was Neomi sexuality. Before she became a prima ballarina, she was a dancer and had protectors,in order to survive.I really loved that Mrs.Cole used reallity in this part of the story. I didn't like the feeling that i had during the reading of the couple's love scenes.Neomi wasn;t sexy in my opinion or tempting. She was trashy and cheap.I can't specify the why. Emmaline,Kaderin and all of the others were really sexy in their approach to their mates(each one of them with a different way). But Neomi wasn't.Not at all
