I learned about this book from Ken Rockwell's wetsite. He gives it a high mark. I was a little disappointed when I read it. Its a good book but not a great book. It's probably just me expecting too much.

... comes not from books, but within. There is some useful information, and some great pictures in this book, but creativity can't be taught, only developed and nurtured. If you need something to thumb through on a rainy day, this may be it, but don't expect any major revelations in this book..
Brenda Tharp's Creative Nature & Outdoor Photography November 9, 2007
Excellent book chock full of wonderful tips and good information. This has become my bible for review of photography I once knew. Once I feel comfortable with all her great tips, I hope to take a course from her at BetterPhoto.com .
This book is recommended to every serious photographer.
