Excellent book! February 2, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This book is written so well and makes learning PhotoShop Elements much easier. If I had to depend on the instructions that came with the software I would still be in the dark. If you purchase it, you will not be disappointed. The color pictures in the book are also a welcome addition.
Great reference, but not really for beginners January 21, 2008 This book is a wonderful reference manual but it really isn't for a person who is new to PSE5. A definate must for experienced PSE5 users, but if you are looking for a quick and dirty "how to" guide then maybe this book isn't the best one for you....but you will benefit from it later when you are ready to dig deeper into the features and facilities offered.
Photoshop Elements 5 - The Missing Manual January 4, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is the most comprehensive "manual" for Photoshop Elements 5 that I have seen. I looked at "Classroom in a Book" (Adobe)- good, and "The Photoshop Elements 5 Book" by Scott Kelby - better but the "Manual" is best. It is written in simple to understand terms. I would recommend it for beginners. Advanced users can use "The Manual" as a reference.
Photo Shop Element 5.0 December 3, 2007 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
Photo Shop Element 5.0 has helped me develop my photos in a slide show that is attractive and interesting.
You can't learn everything from a manual, but as manuals go, this one can't be beat November 6, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
After trying to get through five other photoshop elements books, I found this one: the first that makes sense both in terms of its methods and instruction and its explanation about what features are worth using and which can be avoided. Perhaps because the author is a graphic artist and not a photographer has helped her see the program with a more objective eye.
