5 out of 5 stars Best book ever!   June 22, 2006

Normally, I hate vampire stories. They just creep me out. So when i found out this book was about vampires, I almost didn't read it. I'm SO glad i did. This is an amazing book! It's filled with vivid descriptions and paints a whole different world of vampires. I laughed, I cried, and I wouldn't shut up about it for days. This is the perfect book for fantasy, romance, and action lovers.

5 out of 5 stars I love this book, you will too   June 22, 2006

Twilight is such a good book. You don't have to be a vampire fan to read it [trust me I wasn't a vampire fan, but now I AM!!!!]. Being written very well, combined with romance and danger, makes it the best book possibly made! I can't wait until the sequels come out and I hear that she's writing TWILIGHT from the point of view of Edward...hm that'll be really interesting!

Since reading this captivating story, I have passed on my copy of Twilight to everyone i know. Most have gone out, bought their own copy, and re-read the book multiple times. I've even recommended the book to total strangers who happened to be in the same aisle as I at Barnes and Noble. Basically, you would be doing yourself a great disservice by not reading this book.

Twilight is the story of a love that withstands the temptation that a vampire, Edward, has to drink the sweet blood of Bella. Bella and Edward develop a love characterized by trust (my favorite part of the book happens to be their encounter in the clearing in the woods). This unconditional love faces the ultimate test when Bella is hunted down by a rival vampire. One third of the book is about how Bella comes to live in Forks and who she meets, the other third is about the development of the irrevocable love between Edward and Bella, and the remainder focuses on the conflict presented by a rival vampire. 100% of the book is completely wonderful and fascinating; 100% of the book is completely rivoting, breathtaking, and just plain splendid. You will be so drawn into the book, once you start reading, you won't be able to stop.

After you finish Twilight, you'll be begging for the sequel (New Moon which comes out in September of this year)! This is my number one favorite book of all time forever and ever (times ten)! Just trust me on this one! You HAVE to read this book!

Happy Reading!

5 out of 5 stars Twilight is an amazing book. Just....read it!   June 20, 2006

This is honestly one of the best books I've ever read. It blends together romance, danger, believable circumstances, and great writing all together. Stephanie Meyer is one of my role models; I love to write too! She's really an artist- I don't think ANYONE could manage to keep this storyline believeable except her. And she did, miraculously.

I think Stephanie was aiming at teens when she wrote this book, but my friend and I immensely enjoyed Twilight, even though we aren't yet teens. My friend was the first of us to read it, but when she showed it to me, I fell in love. I COULD NOT PUT IT DOWN. And I'm literally not exaggerating. I sat in my room for hours on end, just reading Twilight. When I finished it, it seemed almost surreal. "Life without Twilight? Huh?"

Please, please, please, please, PLEEEEEEEEEASE don't let this book pass you by! Order it, borrow it, whatever: Just...read it!!!!!

5 out of 5 stars Amazing   June 20, 2006

I just bought this book, and I couldn't believe it! I was a bit skeptical at first because of the vampire aspect, but it really was amazing. I just couldn't put it down, and I have reccomended it to all of my friends. Twilight blends romance, suspense and fantasy into the perfect combination that readers will have a hard time putting down. I can't wait to read more books by this author.
