passionate. brilliant photography. January 19, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
i reccomment this book to anyone passionate about AIDS, who cares about people living in destitution or just enjoys great photography.
fabulous! January 12, 2007 this book really reflects the beauty of africa. i have never been there to see for my own eyes, but the beauty this book gives me is exactly how i picture it. africa is plagued with the unfortunate disease of AIDS, but god shows through everything and it is so apparent through these photographs. africa is a special place that is in constant spiritual turmoil, but books like these shows us that such beauty and such pain exists in the same place. god and sin sadly co-exist. this book just allows you to sit and ponder and really think what is out there in this world. it is a book you will look through over and over and over.
AMAZING! November 7, 2006 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
This book is amazing! I bought it for my classroom. As a result of this book, my 4th grade public school students are joining in on the Blood:Water Mission . I showed them the pictures and read the book to them. We were able to talk about all of the resources we take for granted here in the States. They were able to find creative ways to raise money for wells in Africa.

I love this book. It has awesome pictures of Africa, and it captures the emotions of people very well. When I first read the book, it almost made me cry because it is very wonderful. It really makes you appreciate what you have in life. I recommend this book to anyone!
