Product Description When a loved one dies, most of us assume the door to communication with thatperson has closed. Yet, in this profoundly inspiring book, Another Door Opens, Jeffrey A. Wands offers a different perception - one that suggests that a unique form of contact has opened. In his trademark conversational style, Wands takes readers on a dramatic tour ofthe beyond - presenting an entirely new definition of death and, most interestingly, the opportunities it presents. By recounting real-life stories ofthose who've used his psychic ability to reach their loved ones, Another DoorOpens provides intense and unforgettable examples of how the wisdom of the dead has helped change and enrich the lives of the living. The result is an awe-inspiring book that shows readers how to keep the door open to those who've passed - and how to use that connection to open doors to a new understanding oftheir own experiences.

Color Me Unimpressed! September 22, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I seem to be in a minority here, but I thought the book was very dull. I skipped back and forth through chapters in vain, searching for information I haven't read 1,001 times already from various psychics in various books. Yet it all read the same. No part of it really stood out. I don't cast doubt upon his character, nor his psychic abilities; but his writing is very subpar. The book in and of itself was interesting enough to hold my attention for brief spurts. However, compared to much of the other material I have read on this topic, it is quite lightweight and uninspiring. My recommend would be to check it out from your local library. I certainly wouldn't pay for it.
Love this book! September 15, 2008 I absolutely love this book but sometimes it is hard to keep my interest peaked and have to re-read some areas.
Another success in Wands Books June 10, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have had the pleasure of interviewing Jeffrey Wands, along with the pleasure of reading his newest book Another Door opens. I admire books I can hear the authors voice as I am reading, to me makes the book so much more personal, and this is what Jeffrey Wands does. He opens his life so that all who reads his books gets to know Wands up front and personal. This is not another book about Psychics it's about a simple way to understand really what a psychic does, the highs the lows, the good & the bad. He is an exceptional Psychic, an exceptional writer,I look forward to his next book.

This book has changed the way I look at someone's passing. October 21, 2007 9 out of 10 found this review helpful
I really love JW's books and his style. The reading is VERY easy and very interesting and entertaining. Whenever I get one of his books, I want to sit down with it until I have finished it. I love his style; he is very unpretentious. I am very impressed with his abilities. This book has explained some things about death and dying that I did not know, in a way that makes perfect sense, and makes the passing of people I've loved make sense. It took away the really horrible feelings I had at not being present at my father's death, by explaining that people pass the way they need to, and the way that makes it easier for them. In other words, I would have made it much more difficult for him had I been there, so I am now glad it happened the way it did, and feel peace about it, rather than self-recrimination. Previously, I had felt that the only way to go out was to have your family gathered around you to wish you love as you left. I no longer feel that way. This book was very helpful to me (as was his previous book) and I would heartily recommend it to everyone. JW seems like a wonderful person, and this really comes through in his books.
