Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
A revolutionary approach to success and fulfillment-already being used by hundreds of thousands of individuals and organizations-now available for the first time in an accessible, practical book.

T he Personality Code clearly and persuasively demonstrates how personality determines why we do what we do and how we can maximize our strengths, work smarter with others, and profit from better relationships in our careers.

Based on the IDISC(tm) Personality Profile-an updated and rigorously validated proprietary version of DISC, the world's most popular form of personality testing-the book provides insights and strategies for individuals and organizations that promote self-awareness and foster excellence.

Readers will have free access to the online IDISC(tm) Personality Profile (each book will include a unique code number), which will reveal their own profiles from among the fourteen personality types that have been refined and defined through the author's six-year international study involving more than five hundred thousand participants.

Travis Bradberry shows readers how to discern the fixed characteristics that explain three-quarters of human behavior. Most important, they will learn how to leverage these traits in order to capitalize on their strengths and sidestep weaknesses in themselves as well as in other people.

5 out of 5 stars What makes YOU tick? This one is better than StrengthsFinder!   February 22, 2008

We're having a blast with this book at my work! It tells you which of the 14 personality types you are, what your strengths are based upon your type, and what you can do to overcome your weaknesses. I was surprised at how spot-on the description of my type (Motivator) was. Most of my coworkers had the same reaction.

With some of my, eh hem, tougher to understand colleagues, I now have a way to understand where they are coming from and why they do some of the bizarre things that they do. The book gives us a common language that we now use to understand and describe each other. We also took the strengthsfinder test and I didn't get the same depth of information from that test, so I don't understand the review here that says that book is better. Plus that strengthsfinder book is too short and The Personality Code provides a wealth of information. Highly recommended!

5 out of 5 stars Fun read   June 11, 2007

I expected this book to be educational (and it was), but I was surprised by what a breezy read it turned out to be. Dr. Bradberry provides many interesting stories of how personality plays out in the real world to illustrate the concepts. These stories helped me to see the connection to people I know, as well as myself. Great book.

4 out of 5 stars A twist on MBTI   May 12, 2007

In short, I liked the book. I took the test, found out I was an Innovator and found out who my antithesis is. All that being said, the iDISC is explained in laymen terms and makes a lot of sense. For those of us who are familiar and have used MBTI, this is along those lines and makes perfect sense.

Fun to read
I really enjoyed the author's writing in this book. Dr. Bradberry has
influenced me to learn more about myself and to explore the perspectives of
others. I enjoyed the stories, understood the research, and the test that
comes with the book is top-notch. I have benefited so much from this
information I hope everyone who comes in contact with this information have
the same revelations as I did.

5 out of 5 stars Fascinating book   April 26, 2007

I bought The Personality Code after it received a good review here in Newsday in New York. It's a really interesting book that explains how personality controls much of what we do and say each day, as well as how little personality changes in adults. I enjoyed the descriptions of the 14 types of people, as well as the online test that told me which personality type I have.
