5 out of 5 stars Time America: An Illustrated History   August 29, 2008

Time America: An Illustrated History Excellant book! This book is intriquing, the more you read, the more you want to read. This book makes learning about history fun for kids, and adults. My son who is 9 can easily spend an hour at a time reading it. I have learned alot about history, that I did not know. The illustration are show the raw emotion's and feeling's of American's through out history. I can guarantee that this book will not leave your house. This is a heirloom book that adult's, children, and grandchildren will treasure. Great birthday, or christmas book for a person that has everything.

Gives a concise overview of US history with great pictures. It's a very nice reference book or an interesting browse through type book. Either way, it is a nice addition to one's library.

5 out of 5 stars love this book!!!   July 9, 2008
This book is wonderful! I learned so much from every page and the images are beautiful. I highly recommend this book, if you are a history buff, like my dad(who I got this book for), or some one like me, who needs to learn about history in an easy to read, interesting format.

5 out of 5 stars Little Bits of History - Very Interesting   December 26, 2007

I purchased two of these books for holiday gifts. One for my father and one for my grandfather. But, I was so interested in looking at the pictures I read through one before I wrapped them :) I think this is a great book for those that love photography as well as those that want to learn a little bit about history. There is text throughout the book that describes the times of the photos as well as what exactly is taking place in each. I thought the book was enlightening about more distant history. The photographs just help give a much better feeling of what was going on than text only ever could.
