"George was going to a dog show. He had not been to a dog show before. He was very curious." -- From the book
Curious George attends a dog show--but is disappointed to find out that they just walked around a little. (He was expecting them to do tricks!)
However, he gets to meet them *after* the dog show--and he enjoys meeting them so much, he wants to take them home. And he did. (You see, the owners were too busy getting ribbons to notice...)
This delightful Level 1 book features simple sentences and concepts, geared towards beginner readers. This paperback has surprisingly thick, glossy pages with colorful images. The story itself is 21 pages, and there are several matching, counting, and adding games in the back--which is an additional bonus.
If your child loves Curious George--especially the TV show on PBS Kids--they'll love the amusing tale of The Dog Show!
P.S. The actual cover is different--and more colorful--than the one shown here.
