Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars A Good Book for its Target Audience   March 31, 2008
Perhaps the price should have warned me. This is a good introduction to roller coasters but it is written for children. Having read it I will donate it to a school library. So to any coaster enthusiasts - is there a school near you that would benefit from your generousity? Then by all means buy it, read it, donate it.

1 out of 5 stars It's a kid's book   October 25, 2006

OK, maybe I should have researched it more, but it was a "recommendation." Nowhere did it say that this is a kid's book, aimed at 10 year olds (or younger). And no way is it worth $18. If you're a kid, or you're buying a book for a kid, it's STILL probably not worth it. If you're an adult, it's DEFINITELY not worth it.

Book is NOT worth the money charged. It is a small book and not informative whatsoever. I returned the book immediately upon its receipt. The description of the book is nowhere near what the book contains. My advice........SAVE YOUR MONEY!!

1 out of 5 stars The World's Cheapest Movie Made   July 3, 2002

After watching this film, I was depressed. I expected a great informational yet entertaining movie. Instead, I get these still images of roller coasters with a guy in a monotonous voice talking about how high and fast the coaster is. That's about all that's in this movie. It's something I would definately not call entertainment!

I am 7 years old and really liked this book. I love roller coasters and get eveerything I can on them. I learned about the speeds and designs of many coasters. You will like it!
