We checked this out from our local library for our 2 1/2 year-old rail fan son, and we have renewed it three times. He loves it, we love it. Fabulous photos, extensive and interesting historical discussion of railroading in each region of the country. Not your typical schlocky coffee-table book. Beautiful and well-written.
