OMG! My husband & I got this for our sons 2nd birthday a week ago. I was going to go with a cheaper toy (a "Cars" race track that was 19.99 it was a figure 8 track that needed 2 cars & they crashed) But I bought this instead partly because I really wanted to play with it and because if I didn't I was going to buy it for christmas and I figured we have a lot of gifts to buy during xmas so why not get this one out of the way. Our son & 5 year old daughter love it, in fact he got up early the next moring and was down stairs playing it before anyone else got up. I was really impressed by how it's made, it's much bigger then I thought it would be and I don't feel like it'll get broken and i feel the price fits it well, plus there are many accessories. Our aunt bought the Thomas the train set for her grandkids to play with @ her house but I like this set better you get to control the train with a wireless controller it makes noise, goes forward & back it's just a great set.
My son was not into trains or cars really, he played with them but liked action figure like kung fu panda more so I was a little surprised that he loves it so much.
Now the people that come with this set are a little small but you can always put them up till they're older if your child like to put things in their mouth.
I can't wait for christmas so we can get more stuff to go with it!

Easy to assemble--even a small child can tackle it. For the toddler that loves trains--a good sturdy option.

We got this for our 3-year-old son for his Santa present for Christmas last year. He already had a few smaller Geotrax sets and loved them. He was thrilled. He spends hours rearranging the tracks and watching the trains. My 7-year-old daughter likes playing with it sometimes too. My husband and I even end up playing with them, coming up with new track designs. The pieces connect and disconnect easily, but hold together well. They're very durable. The only complaint I can think of is that the trains go through batteries pretty quickly. We will probably buy him more GeoTrax in the future.

My 3 yr. old son has played with this everyday since receiving it for his birthday! We have added track and some extra trains, and look forward to adding more in the future! He is so excited...he goes through the house saying Team Geo Trax...ALL ABOARD! Very durable, one of the battery operated trains has even withstood a dip in the pool! He has tossed it, crashed it, submerged it in water and it just keeps on ticking! They need to make more videos too! My older kids even love it!

I bought this for my 4 year old grandson. He was given another GeoTrax as a preschool graduation gift and just loved it, so I am adding to his GeoTrax collection. He requested this after seeing it in the pamphlet that came with his gift. He has gotten many hours of enjoyment from the first gift and I know he will do the same with this. And he was addicted to the DVD that was included in the first gift.
