Editorial Reviews:

Amazon.com
Only the seriously obsessed train enthusiast should consider settling in to watch this 60-minute video that easily feels twice as long. It can't seem to rise above its fixation on the minutiae of railway systems. If you can get beyond the excruciatingly dull scenes of rail cars passing one by one, over and over, there is some interesting information here. The narrator of the video, which was produced for a British audience, throws around so many numbers and so much lingo that those who don't belong to the railway fraternity are sure to get lost. Still, there's beautiful scenery of America to behold as the monitoring of trains travels west from Sand Patch, Pennsylvania, to Los Angeles while snippets of rail history are thrown in. And there's no shortage of every kind of train going around the bend. --Valerie J. Nelson
