Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
Cincinnati on the Go explores the various modes of transportation that helped people get around in the first half of the 20th century, providing a unique view of the Queen City through the eyes of her everyday commuters. This volume features historic images of river transportation, street railways, city buses, steam railroads, the first automobiles, and wonderful, rare street scenes. Author Allen J. Singer expands on the transportation photographs in the previously released The Cincinnati Subway, inviting the reader up and out of the abandoned subway tunnels and on a visual tour through the historic streets of the Queen City on her riverboats, streetcars, cable cars, railroads, interurbans, and buses.

4 out of 5 stars Cincinnati on teh Go: History of Mass Transit   February 8, 2008
This book provided all I was looking for. I wanted information on the history of the Cincinnati Inclines and received much more. The streetcar history in downtown was also very interesting. I am building an N series model of downtown during the incline era and now have the details I need to take me from the Price Hill Incline to the Mt. Adams Incline.

5 out of 5 stars A Picture Packed Book Of Cincinnati Mass Transit   December 24, 2005

This is the 2nd of 3 books by the author that I recently purchased. Being a native Cincinnatian I am always on the lookout for new Cincy books. This one is loaded to the gills with never before seen pictures of every type of mass transporation used in the city way back to the "good old days." Included with the load of photos are complete descriptions. The photos are outstanding- as clear as if taken yesterday !! Interesting and well documented. Add it to your Cincy collection.
