5 out of 5 stars Most Relevant Reading to Change One's Life   August 31, 2008

This book is so compelling that we started "No Ego Man Book Club" at [...]. What's exciting and perhaps unusual is that our audience consists of all African-American men broadcasting live each week from the barber shop. Yes, Black men from professional football players, to bus drivers to senior executives all participate from the barber shop discussing Eckhart Tolle's book, A New Earth.

5 out of 5 stars Tying-up so many loose ends   August 30, 2008

Years of doubt, insecurity and years of an unsettled soul suddenly became exposed and revealed for what they are: Ego and the Pain Body. This short and wonderful book has changed my life in monumental ways and enabled me to embrace the present moment. No longer will I occupy my now with the past which I cannot re-live, or the future which I previously feared.

Thank you, Mr. Tolle. I have never met you, but after reading this book I feel that I know you, and I'm absolutly convinced that you know me! Thank you for bringing meaning to the the many incomplete bits and pieces that were previously my life. Thanks for enabling me to finally assemble them and see that they show the true being I am, but also the magic of the World and Universe in which I live.

Amazing book. Highly Reccomended to anyone who is feeling stuck in a world that seems unfriendly and uncaring, or who has issues of self-confidence/self-love. I was both, and then I found this book, and it has been my bible since.

5 out of 5 stars Very Worthwhile   August 30, 2008
A New Earth: Awakening to Your Life's Purpose (Oprah's Book Club, Selection 61)

Although Oprah has recommended this book very highly,I'd like to say that it isn't just a "woman's book". It can be highly beneficial to anyone. It is not a quick read, but since it's helping anyone live a fuller life, it's good that it isn't. Tolle develops his themes gradually, but in a hghly interesting way. It is a great book that anyone serious about improving themselves and leading a happier life could benefit from.

3 out of 5 stars just ok?   August 30, 2008

It seems like an interesting book but still is slow paced it doesnt grab your attention right away. You have to be willing to wait for a little while.
