Short and Sweet April 28, 2008 17 out of 20 found this review helpful
I just finished this yesterday and I have to say it was excellent. If you are at all familiar with Ron Paul and his message, you will see most of the things he's talked about in this book but he has more room to explain something than he does in a 20 second sound byte.
If you are not familiar with Ron Paul, this is most definitely a good intro. It's not too long, it's not too complicated but gives a good overview of what Ron Paul sees as being wrong with our government and what steps he thinks should be taken to make things better.
Again, easy to understand and a quick read and very informative.

We have reached a tipping point in our country. This is one of the most important books of our time.
leaving me wanting more April 28, 2008 17 out of 20 found this review helpful
I'm psyched to dive into some of the books Ron Paul recommends on the subjects for which he is best known. Of particular interest to me is a source for the Founders' reasoning behind each part of the Constitution. There are several areas of the book which I wish Ron Paul would have expanded upon his views. I finished it in only a few hours. However, I learned a bit about the history of how marijuana got outlawed in America and it astonished me. Ron Paul is a true patriot and I'm proud to have his book in my library.
Judging by the cover... April 27, 2008 17 out of 20 found this review helpful
You all know the quote, but this one is impressively easy to judge just based on one thing; the cover. Apon closer looks at the top and bottom inscriptions, you see part of our American constitution. Dr. Paul's book reflects apon how our constitution has been interpreted throughout the years by big government, corporate media, and other interest groups, and gives reasons why our Founding Fathers would be appalled with the direction our country is going. Ron gives a great perspective on the issues we're facing today as a country, this is a book worth reading.
Very Informative! April 27, 2008 20 out of 24 found this review helpful
The book is very informative and easy to read. I've found the material so fascinating that I'm reading the book again.
