 Wonderful book June 23, 2007
This is a wonderful book. My boys want to read it multiple times each day. Even when I'm not reading to him, my younger son sits and just flips through the pages, looking at the pictures. It is a definite hit in our house!

I like everything about this book as it has every type of machine I can think of. It's a boy's book.
Lots of the machines look like my real toys. I love the tractor digging the field over, and I imagine this is what my field will be like when I'm a vet, because vets need tractors to get to the sick animals.
This book is so much fun because the machines are doing real jobs, just like I see when I go to different places. I can find out how they work and what they do, which makes me think about what I would like to do when I'm big.
There's lots of rhyming in the book, which makes it easy for me to read. In fact I can read it to Mummy and Daddy at nighttime now.

My one year old LOVES this book March 14, 2007
My son(12 months) loves this book. He carries it around the house and screams "DIG DIG!!!!" We read this book at least 3 times a day. Our 3 year old likes it too, but it really seems to appeal more to younger children who enjoy the rhythm and don't mind that there's not really a story to it.
Fun book for toddlers! February 6, 2007
My little guy has loved this book for years, and I was thrilled to see that it was now available as a board book. The pictures are great, and little ones love the repetition of the last line on each page, "It can work all day!"

My grandson loves this book! He asks for it to be read and re-read several times each day. He has memorized almost every page. It is great for any child that loves construction.
