Perfect lego addition June 8, 2007 This set contains pieces that are the perfect addition for any growing lego collection, especially as kids become more proficient building more complex inventions. My 5 year old loves the challenge of building new things by herself. The building ideas in the book are great.
Great ideas for lego loving kids January 11, 2007 This book kept my son engaged in building even though he already owns a tremendous amount of Lego sets. The building ideas were unique and educational for him.
Killer things to build January 11, 2007 One of the only times I have seen my nephew (age 7) really stay focused on a project that required following directions. He's very independent and it was quite difficult to convince him that there may be something to sticking with the book through the steps, that someone might be able to teach him a thing or two about building with legos (his personal lego projects are pretty insane). Bu after we built the first project (tight-rope walker) the authors earned his stamp of approval.
Finally! Something to do with ALL THOSE LEGOS! January 10, 2007 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
We bought this book as a Christmas gift for our 10-year-old nephew [in combination with The Ultimate Lego Book]. With two tubs of Lego pieces already in his possession, we figured he didn't need yet another set of Legos... but perhaps something nifty to build with them all. And judging from how big and wide his eyes got when he opened Crazy Action Contraptions, I think our gifts this year were a big hit!
Wonderful Book!!! January 9, 2007 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
We have a million legos that were never getting used. My son thought he had to build everything he got and then just let them sit there. Once they got destroyed, he never used them again. This book was wonderful in helping him use his imagiionation to build with his legos. I highly reccomend this book!
