5 out of 5 stars I enjoy every issue cover to cover   April 29, 2008
This magazine isn't about which new [insert product here] is best, its about what ideas are changing the world or at least trying to. It lets you know how other people are thinking about improving technology and improving ourselves. I always find a pile of interesting facts and "why didn't we do that sooner" ideas every month. The first half of the magazine is made up of short one page articles with interesting tidbits if you want to relax for 10 minutes, but the back has some of the most interesting articles I've ever read. Anatomy of a nuclear reactor that by design won't go Chernobyl on us is just one example. Besides, for the cost of a few issues it just comes to you!

Great mag- terrible delivery

1 out of 5 stars Wired not what I expected.   April 21, 2008

I had previously purchased off the newsstand copies of Wired and enjoyed it, but upon receiving my subscribed copies and having more time to read it feel now it was a mistake. It is not quite what I thought it was. It is a little too edgy for me.

I got my magazine really quickly- 3 weeks after ordering! It's an awesome magazine for techies and has some really interesting articles. I personally look forward to it coming every month.

5 out of 5 stars It's been around a long time but it's still great!   March 27, 2008

I subscribed to "Wired" years ago. In fact, I think I still have the very first issue they ever published! At some point I let my subscription lapse. I was busy with a lot of other stuff. I am so happy to be receiving it again! When the first issue arrived, I read it voraciously, cover to cover! Now I've received the second and am working on that! It contains lots about what's new and coming in the future, in technology, the sciences, music, business, you name it. It's well-designed and fun to read. If you're a geek or just someone who finds information about new things that might be happening in not-so-far-distant future a turn-on, then you'll probably love "Wired."
