 A DVD I WATCHED AT LEAST 60 TIMES IN A 2 WEEK VISIT WITH MY 4-YR OLD NEPHEW!! August 23, 2007

MY 4-YR OLD NEPHEW IS INTO THOMAS THE TRAIN BIG-TIME, AND I BROUGHT HIM THIS DVD DURING A RECENT VISIT. I'VE BOUGHT HIM NEARLY EVERY THOMAS DVD, BUT "THE BEST OF GORDON" IS HIS FAVORITE AND WE WATCHED IT OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN. ALL OF THE THOMAS DVD'S ARE GREAT FOR KIDS. THEY ARE SHORT, BUT TELL A GOOD STORY WITH A "USEFUL" LESSON. IF YOU ARE A THOMAS FAN, YOU WILL UNDERSTAND THE MEANING BEHIND WHAT I JUST WROTE! LOL!

IN A NUTSHELL:
In this 'Collector's Edition DVD' there is alot to see and hear.
First off, there are 9 stories rather the usual 6, and from a host of narrators including; Ringo Starr, Michael Angelis, George Carlin, Alec Baldwin, Michael Brandon. For sentimental reasons I always enjoy any story that Ringo narrates, but on this DVD they are all quite well done.
Secondly, there are many nice bonus features which in total equal 1 hour's worth and a neat talking menu to introduce the DVD. Inside the DVD case you will find an neat booklet which shows Gordon the tank engine and illustrates how he functions. You'll also find some promo info about the 'Day Out With Thomas' program and directions for how to use the DVD menu and a description of what each bonus feature offers plus a list of the stories.

I RENTED THIS AT A LIBRARY LAST YEAR (IN 2004).
MY FAVORITE PARTS ARE THE ONE WHEN KIDS THROW STONES AT HENRY'S
PASSENGER TRAIN,MY OTHER ONE IS WHEN GORDEN SAW THE FLYING
SCOTSMAN (HE'S NO LONGER AVAILIBLE SO GET HIM OF EBAY)
OH I FORGET I WAS THE FIRST REVIEWER OF THE THOMAS TUNTABLE
 Brings back classic stories(8 out of 10) September 29, 2004
Okay Gordon isn't one of the main characters so there weren't very much stories to put on this tape, I mean some of them aren't even about Gordon they just have Gordon in them. But then again, this tape did bring back some of my favorite stories like Gordon and the Famous Visitor and Gordon Takes a Dip therefore, I gave this one 4 stars.
