 Perfect with Thomas Bedroom January 27, 2008
My son has a "Thomas" bedroom with the rugs, pillows, bedsheets, etc. This is a cute and final touch to the room. My son loves it! He prefers to place his dirty clothes here instead of the big one in the bathroom.

This pop-up hamper works well. My son will actually put his dirty clothes in it. The handles are convenient and it is, of course, very lightweight. Good purchase.

Ok, so most people buy hampers for their kids to throw laundry in. Not I.
This year, all birthday gifts to all kids/teens we know are going in pop-up hampers. Why? These things couldn't be more versatile. They can be used for toy storage, linen storage, as 'luggage' to tote things to grandma & grandpa's or to your cottage, or for it's intended purpose of laundry.
I've bought them all. The plain ones, the animal ones and these character type (as this Thomas one is). They're all good. In my opinion the best one ore the lidded ones (some of the plain variety have zip lids, the animal ones have 'heads' that close on top) as they're the most versatile & sturdy, and therefore a better bang for your buck.
This open top type is good for a small child. It's a bit smaller than the other hampers, a bit less sturdy, but it has Thomas on it & it's cute!
Highly recommended as a gift bag...which is how our recipient received theirs.
