New Friends coming Thomas' way! November 20, 2005 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
Dennis is one of Thomas' new friends featured in Season 9 and "Tales from the Tracks" video and DVD. Dennis is a very lazy diesel engine. When he first arrived, Sir Topham Hatt had given Thomas the day off. Dennis saw that his jobs were hard, so he lied and got Thomas to do his work for him. Then Dennis pretended to break down and Thomas helped him. Much later, Thomas is enjoying his day off and Dennis crashes. He honks his horn for help but Thomas doesn't hear he finds him and Dennis tells Thomas that he's sorry he made everything up. Thomas tells Dennis that he is a really useful engine for telling the truth. Soon Thomas and Dennis become friends. As seen in the story "Thomas' Day Off".
