We bought the Thomas Bedtime Express Slumber Bag for our 2 year old son. He loves it! He went right to sleep in it the very first time without protest. He's still in his crib and had always slept in a pack-n-play when we go visiting relatives. He's since outgrown that and we needed something new for him. This was perfect! He loves Thomas so I think that eased the transition. Plus its big enough for him to grow into.
Great for little ones March 8, 2007
This sleeping bag is perfect for younger kids. It's certainly not made for heavy outdoor use (it's pretty lightweight) but is perfect for "slumber parties" in my kids' rooms.
My only concern is the straps that keep it rolled up while not in use. If the bag is unrolled and you want to keep the straps from tripping someone, etc. you can loop them back and close them with a velcro tab, creating a choking hazard. If you don't reattach them, the velcro can attach itself to the bag itself and interfere with the zipper.

All sleeping bags seem to be made of that slippery material. The boys like to open theirs up and use them as blankets on their beds. The Thomas Slumber Bag is currently snuggled around my son and he's quite happy with it - but it slips off the bed in the night.
