Amazon.com Product Description Toot! Toot! Here come the animals, riding around on a musical choo-choo train. This fun motorized train helps babies ages six months to three years learn about animals through song and play. The Amazing Animals and Their Choo-Choo Simply place one of the three small friends in the engine car to one of four amusing songs about animals. Baby will love to crawl along with the train as it lights up, playing music and sounds. The Go Choo-Choo also encourages curiosity as the baby figures out how to make it go. Each train car has a unique feature that captures your precious little one's attention and keeps them busy. You can choose between a sitting mode for the youngest baby and motion-activated for older play. Watch out parents, the tunes are so catchy, you'll soon be humming them yourself! Each animal car is full of rewarding activities to engage baby's attention. The engine car has leaf-shaped beads that slide from side-to-side and the smallest car has a built-in trapeze for the monkey. A light-up smokestack delights the eyes and when pressed the train moves forward in a straight line. For hours of amusement, the animals have movable joints, textured feet, teethable ears, and rainstick sounds. This toy is made from sturdy plastic and can withstand harsh child play. It rides especially smooth over hard surfaces, but works on carpet too. Best of all, should you suddenly feel like you're in a zoo, there is a power-volume control for quiet play. The Go Choo-Choo Train requires three C batteries (not included) and measures 23-by-7-by-13 inches (LxWxH). Features It is no surprise that this choo-choo was chosen for Parent's Magazine Best Toys of the Year award, 2006, as well as other prestigious awards. It develops motor skills and helps babies learn to crawl, while teaching them about animals. And these chunky animals are not just cute, their feet are sculpted with various textures for fun exploration and they have teether ears to chew on. This toy also appeals to a diverse age, from babies who are first learning to crawl to toddlers who like to sing along with the animal friends. Plus, Amazing Animals sets are available if you'd like to add to the bunch. What's in the Box Three animal friends and a motorized train.

Cute, gets boring August 30, 2008 The animals are popular around here (we have the train plus other animals in the series), but the train itself isn't as interesting as they make it sound. It seems like a random selection, even with the different modes, and it doesn't recognize the animal placed in it like some people think (which is really confusing when our toddler puts a giraffe in and it makes ape noises at first). There is music when the smokestck is pushed and animals noises and other music when the thing next to the smokestack is pushed. The songs aren't great; the tune is ok as far as these kinds of toys go but the words aren't catchy enough to learn to sing to. And it only goes in a straight line. Five songs, I think someone mentioned? Not sure, as it's so random we haven't been bothered to pay attention carefully enough. If it hits an obstacle, the music gets all warped and then it stops. Unless you have a huge house that doesn't have other toy clutter, the train won't go very far. And to turn it around usually means all the carts fall off.
Wide Age Range! August 13, 2008 My 2 year old son has loved this toy since he was 6 months old! It was fun to watch/listen to/chew on when he was little. Now he pretends with the train and the animals. Loads of fun!
The Perfect Toy Train July 30, 2008 The train is very well constructed and durable with movable animal parts. The musical lyrics are easy to understand. If you add additional cars the train is not strong enough to pull them, but overall I am well pleased with the train.
My 17 Month Old Doesn't Care For It July 23, 2008 I bought this toy when my daughter was about 6 months old. Now at 17 months it just sits in her toy box. She didn't show much interest in it. She seems to like chewing and playing with the animals than the train itself. Very disappinted.
Technology with room for imagination! July 18, 2008 Our family loves this toy! My son recieved it when he was 6 months old and still plays with it at 2 years old. The train has fun songs and animal noises, but not so much that the technology takes over. We play with the animals alone, the train alone, and all of it together! It's a lot of fun and educational. My son still loves to see giraffes at the zoo after being introduced to them through this toy. Great for a large age range and boys or girls! Enjoy it!
