A must BUY! September 2, 2008 My baby boy has loved this toy since he was 5 months old. He is almost 1 year and still plays with it several times a day. A great investment!
Good, but.... August 20, 2008 Just be prepared to lose a ball or two. We lost a ball the first day, and I still can't find it. They are the perfect size that will roll under couches, tables, etc. I am a freak about keeping toy parts together so that part bugs me. However, my one year old daughter seems to like this toy. Not her favorite, but she does like putting the balls in it, and taking them out when they spin around. Keeps her entertained for around 10 minutes at a time. I think soon she will enjoy it more when she is more motivated to chase after it across the kitchen floor!
Great fun for all June 2, 2008 My son got this for christmas when he was 6 months old. He was a little young for it then, but liked the balls and watching my 4 year old play with it. Now that the baby is 11 months this is one of his favorite toys! One of the best features is that there's really four play modes. It can be stationery or move across the room, it can also "recycle" the balls or have them drop out the back. If my son gets bored with one mode, we just change it up. We also found that the balls are the same size as the ones that come with the fisher-price pop up toy so it's nice that we can interchange them and not have to worry about not mixing them up. I highly recommend this product. It's a great toy for our infant as well as our preschooler!
Be Careful! May 24, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This toy is really great, my 7mo old son that is learning to crawl loves it! BUT be careful... The part that the ball comes out before going down the spiral doesn't stop when little fingers are in the way! Both my son and I got our fingers pinched a few times.
My son didn't really enjoy this toy until he was older... May 19, 2008 We got this toy for my son around 10 months of age. All he really liked to do with it was take the balls out of it and throw them around and turn the train upside down to see how it moved. He really didn't play with it much and it sat on the shelf most of the time.
Suddenly around 14 months of age he became very interested in this toy and liked to make it run, put the balls in it, and chase it around. He likes to experiment with trying to get it to run over different surfaces; the carpet, wood flooring, tile, and rugs. I know it is rated for 9 months and up but my son personally had to be a bit older until he really loved this toy!
