Amazon.com This program's theme is getting along: Thomas, Sir Topham Hatt, Percy, and other friends tell stories about cooperation, with George Carlin as the conductor and host. Also on this video are the stories "Percy and the Signal," "The Runaway," and "Old Iron." Minimalist animated fun for young kids, and the individual stories are distinct enough from one another to stick in the memory. --Tom Keogh

Great compilation of older stories October 7, 2006 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a nice compilation video that shows stories about Thomas and his friends getting along.Most of the stories are from the discounted tapes,renarrarated by George Carlin.These are the episodes: 1.Old Iron(Vol.4) 2.The Runaway(Vol.5) 3. Percy Proves A Point(Vol.4) 4.James In A Mess(Vol.4) 5.Better Late Than Never(Vol.5) 6.Trust Thomas(Vol.6) 7.Duck Takes Charge(Vol.4) 8.Down The Mine(Vol.5) 9.Tenders & Turntables(Vol.3) 10.Percy & The Signal(Vol.7)
All in all, this is a very good compilation of the older episodes from the older tapes.
Great Thomas DVD! January 27, 2006 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
As usual you cannot go wrong with Thomas - Kids learn morals and manners in an easy to listen and view forum.
Not New But Pretty Good May 21, 2005 In 1998(or 1999)I bought this on video. In 2004,I bought this on DVD to check out the speical features but their aren't any good games on this DVD,just the Character Gallery,Sing-Along Depot and Web Fun(which is hard for me to get on to). This DVD isn't even new,it's just a Thomas video from the 1990s put on DVD. This DVD isn't new,put it's pretty good. So if you want to buy this,go ahead. But if you don't want this on DVD,buy the video instead.
A Must-Buy, but the stories aren't the best November 14, 2004 4 out of 6 found this review helpful
I guess since this was one of the last collection videos, this one got all the left-over stories. The stories on here are good, but not superb(except for James In A Mess). Here they are:
1)Old Iron 4/5 2)James In A Mess 6/5 3)Duck Takes Charge 4/5 4)Down The Mine 4/5 5)The Runaway 4.5/5 6)Better Late Than Ever 4/5 7)Tenders & Turntables 5/5 8)Percy Proves A Point 3.5/5 9)Trust Thomas 5/5 10)Percy & The Signal 4/5
I'd buy this Thomas video if your a new fan of Thomas, but for a lifetime fan like me, it's not worth it.
