A must have October 2, 2006
If you want all of the old episodes on the tapes that were discounted in the Ringo Starr era,get this now,along with Thomas Comes To Breakfast.These two videos contain the episodes from the old tapes narrarated by George Carlin.This contains episodes mainly from the Tenders and Turntables video.One of them is Thomas Breaks The Rules(Vol.4),and the other two were on volume 1.The only one not included in this and in TCTB is Tenders & Turntables,but you can find it on Thomas & His Friends Get Along.All in all,GET THIS NOW,along with TCTB.

Remember back in the olden days were Thomas the Tank Engine only had about 7 characters, Thomas, Edward, Henry, Gordon, James, Percy, and Toby. This 5 star Thomas video lets us relive those classic days with these 7 classic stories that include:
A Big Day For Thomas(Vol.1) A:
Find out what happens to Thomas when he gets to impatient to pull his very first train.
Percy Runs Away(Vol.3) B:
When Percy forgets to whistle at the signal box, he nearly encounters a head-on colision with Gordon.
Thomas Breaks The Rules(Vol.4) A:
Thomas gets in trouble with the police because he doesn't have cowcatchers and side-plates, but luckily an engine who fits that profile, Toby, is on his way to Sir Topham Hatt's Railway.
Henry's Special Coal(Vol.3) A:
Henry is ill and nothing seems to make him better. But there is a cure for Henry, special coal. It's either that or the scrapyard.
The Flying Kipper(Vol.3) A+:
A snow jammed signal causes Henry to end up in a "fishy" situation.
Trouble For Thomas(Vol.1) A:

Series 1.........the glory days of TTTE.I love this complemation,as we can see our old favorites dubbed by George Carlin.However,The Flying Kipper blew me away the first time i saw it on Tenders And Turntables,and it fasanated me even more on this video.
Overall,Percy Runs Away and Coal are some of the best episodes on this vid,but The Flying Kipper is by far The GREATEST episode on this vid(And perhaps the greatest in Thomas history(its my second fav tho next 2''A Close Shave'')^_^

This video contains 7 classic Thomas & Friends Stories. Originally on different volumes, the stories are a collection from about 3 previous volumes. The episodes are as follows:A Big Day for Thomas (originally on Vol. 1- "Thomas Gets Tricked") follows a Thomas who wants to pull coaches, and finally gets his chance. But guess what happened to his chance? Percy Runs Away (orrig. on Vol. 3- "Tenders and Turntables"). A continuation of "Trouble in the Shed," Gordon james and Henry are back to work and the new engine, Percy, has a mishap which gets him startled Thomas Breaks the Rules (orrig. on Vol. 4- "Thomas Breaks the Rules") takes us with Thomas getting in trouble with a policeman. But when Sir Topham Hatt remembers a solution engine he met, Toby the Tram Engine comes to the rescue. Henry's Special Coal (orrig. on Vol. 3- "Tenders and Turntables" Henry feels very weak and receives new, but expensive coal to make him better. The Flying Kipper (Orrig. on Vol. 3- "Tenders and Turntables" A continuation of previous episode, Henry gets to do more important jobs, including taking a load of fish. But a disaster crash occurs, and Henry is sent to be repaired. Toby the Tram Engine (Orrig. on Vol. 3- "Tenders and Turntables") shows us Toby the Tram Enigne. When Sir Topham Hatt and famly visits, they find Toby splendid, but soon the line closes down. But Sir Topham Hatt comes to the rescue...
(This explains how Sir Topham Hatt knew Toby from Thomas Breaks the Rules) I enjoy the episodes (even with George Carlin), but I prefer the original volumes as told by Ringo Starr. VERY CLAASIC!

Let's face it. They made a big mistake stopping the production of four of the five Ringo tapes. James learns a Lesson is a good tape but it is not as good as the others. This tape shows mainly episodes from Tenders and Turntables and Thomas gets Tricked which was a good idea and this is a good tape. I would recommend this one to the Alec Baldwin ones but not to the classic Ringo Starr tapes.
