This HO-gauge train set includes a bright-yellow Union Pacific diesel locomotive, two freight cars, a caboose, and a 45-by-36-inch oval track that's more than enough to get the train up to top speed. For nighttime runs, the engine has a working headlight to guide its way. Tracks attach easily, and the transformer control box, which is simple enough for the youngest engineers to operate, sends the train forward or in reverse around the track. Also included is a 32-page guide that lists over one hundred tips for railroad building, easy setup directions, and HO-gauge products that are available. The locomotive didn't work when we opened it, but I called the 1-800 number and they sent a new one ASAP (no cost) and now it works great!!! The back trains need some weight in them or they will derail on high. We just added some from the arts/craft store. It's interchangable with other HO Scale models.
