Roboreptile entertains the entire house. February 10, 2007 We bought our 11 year old granddaughter a roboreptile for Christmas. All the family, Mom and Dad included, loved it. Our older granddaughter was having a birthday a week after Christmas and really wanted a roboreptile of her own. Christmas night I got on the internet and searched for another roboreptile. I was thrilled when I found the same one in a different color. The wars between roboreptiles could soon begin. Our 8 year old is the master handler. It has been great fun not just for the children but for the adults as well. Keep plenty of batteries on hand!
Very Unique Toy! January 27, 2007 My grandsons love the Roboreptile in the unique color which shifts as you look at the toy from different angles. The reptile responds well to the remote and has a wide variety of exciting actions. A great buy of a very unique toy!
Like a pet January 25, 2007 I think I enjoy playing with this as much as my 8 year old some. And the dog loves it too! We put it in it's automatic mode and watch the two of them play together!
Roboreptile January 22, 2007 My daughter really liked it because it's very realistic, except the eagle scream. You can feed it virtually (and it makes a bone-crunching noise), and it has three modes. And she likes the fact that it can walk around, and chase things. It also goes to sleep when you put the hood on it. It also has a touch sensor, so it responds when you touch it.
You shouldn't need a sawzall to open a christmas gift... January 20, 2007 We don't own a LONG Philips head screwdriver, so we couldn't unscrew the rotoreptile from it's useless stand. The rest of the packaging is a bit much as well.
The reptile however is really great! It walks/runs a little slower then expected after reading some other comments here, but the neck and tail movement is really fluid. I'd be interested in buying the human version I saw advertised as well. Lots of fun for kids and adults!
