Editorial Review The arcade-style excitement of a skee-ball game is yours at home with this simple yet highly captivating ball game. In the classic skee-ball setting, players roll a ball across a surface and up a ramp after which players earn points based on which hole the ball lands in. In an alternate setting, players must bounce a ball on a tiny trampoline-like platform and again earn points based on where the ball ends up. An electronic voice tells you your score and offers words of encouragement. Three different games are available on each setting: target practice, "match me", and a high score challenge. We liked the variety offered in such a simple toy and appreciated how easily the whole kit can be folded and put away when not in use. --Charlie Williams

Decent mini skeeball February 3, 2008 The mini skeeball game is pretty fun but the game where you bounce the ball is impossible. The ball just doesn't bounce far enough. We just play the skeeball game and for that the game is just what you'd expect - a kid-size vesion of skeeball.
Not as great as everyone else said it was January 12, 2008 It's small, and the kids never really took to it after Christmas. It was under $[...] shipped, so no complaints there. It's not the same as the beloved ski-ball. You have to bounce a ball into the holes instead of roll it. It's small, and the kids tend to cheat after awhile racking up the points. Young kids will enjoy this more than older ones. It's ok, but not sliced bread type stuff.
Great fun, couple of problems January 10, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This toy is fun for the whole family. My boys love it, and my husband and I really enjoy playing it with them. Both the bounce part and the rolling "skeet ball" work well and are lots of fun. There are a few problems though: 1. One of the balls came with a dent in it so it doesn't roll back down the ramp. And in the 2 weeks since getting the toy, another ball has become dented. The balls need to be more durable. 2. After just two weeks of owning the toy, the sound is starting to crackle a bit. I'm sure within 2 months it will be shot. This certainly is not from over-use - it's not played with constantly, just occasionally every other day or so. If the sound box does break, my boys will be so disappointed because the music and scoring is so exciting to them. 3. The stickers for 1 point and 2 points are reversed. That drives me nuts. Not a huge problem because I was able to carefully peel them off and put them in the proper place. But it still makes me mad how everything is so cheaply made these days and what little quality control exists. And when I see something like that I automatically think "Hmmm...obviously made in China, so what else is wrong with it." 4. Installation was kind of awkward.
Fun - for me! January 5, 2008 My daughter is almost 4 years old and doesn't show much interest in this toy. I on the otherhand - love it! I like trying to beat my previous score. Only frustrating part is sometimes the ball bounces off to the side and i have to fetch it.
Kids LOVE this December 30, 2007 Christmas gift, they could not stop playing. This proves you don't need a video game to have fun.
